Izabela Spiewak
Born in Eastern Poland, Ms. Izabela started her international musical career at a very young age. She began to study the violin with her father when she was 5 years old. By the time she was 8, she was offered a scholarship to a music school for gifted young artists. At 17, she won the International Young Violinists Competition in Lublin, Poland. She then, performed numerous recitals and concerts as guest soloist throughout Poland.
At 18, Ms. Izabela entered the Warsaw Conservatory Of Music. She studied with some of the best violin teachers in Eastern Europe, such as Mr. Oscar Ruppel, a direct descendant of the great violin virtuoso Eugene Ysaye, and Janusz Kucharski who continued a tradition of Kreisler and Huberman style of violin playing. Still as a student, she joined the Polish Radio and Television Orchestra and recorded classical and popular music for the Polish radio and TV throughout her college years.
She completed her performing artist's degree and graduated with honors from the Warsaw Conservatory Of Music.
Under the auspices of the Polish Performing Artists Management, Ms. Izabela then relocated to Mexico. She joined the international Mexico City Philharmonic with which she toured all over the world and played under many celebrated conductors including Stanislaw Skrowaczewski, Efreim Kurtz, Eduardo Mata.
She then took a position as a concertmaster of the Dominican Republic National Symphony Orchestra.
Upon arrival to the US, Ms. Izabela was offered a full scholarship to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute and has studied and performed with such distinguished artists as Menahem Pressler, Yehudi Menuhin, Heiicheiro Ohyama, Leonard Bernstein, Michael TilsonThomas and others.
She was also a long time member of the former Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Miami Grand Opera and Miami Chamber Symphony.
In addition, she is a member the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra and also has her own violin studio where she teaches and coach chamber music programs.
She is one of the founding members of the Arcangelo Piano Quartet and Duo Appassionato
